Subject: Cyber-scams & Fraud update from the Northumbria Police Force Specialist Cyber Investigation Team.

This message is a Cyber-scams & Fraud update from the Northumbria Police Force Specialist Cyber Investigation Team.
You are receiving this email as you or your company have been the target of cybercrime which you have reported to Action Fraud and, subsequently, have received support and advice from a member of the Northumbria Police Force Specialist Cyber Investigation Team.
We aim to keep you up to date with the latest cyber-scams, frauds and data breaches (including those which have arisen or increased as a result of the COVID 19 pandemic) as well as providing any relevant advice on maintaining healthy cybersecurity habits.

The NCSC has launched a Cyber Aware campaign to help the public tackle and protect themselves from the growing cyber threats we see reported daily. Included in this is a new suspicious email reporting service, assisting the public in fighting back against phishing.
