thought I would ask you as I don't know the answer ?

m8 of mine two months ago got into a black cab and on the floor is an I phone which has a Vodafone pay as you go sim in it he has used it toped it up ect for the last two months it is locked to Vodafone
and has just asked me will they unlock it to any network ?

I said I would ask your thoughts !!
the thing I cant get my head round, is how can a 3 or 400 pound phone not been reported lost ???? if it has been reported lost would his sim card still work ???????

Why hasnt you friend tried to return it back to the original owner?

And tell me.. what part of NW England does your friend come from?

Sorry, couldn't resist it!

Sim card may not have been registered also the previous owner may have thrown the iPhone box away so does not have the IMEI number to have the phone blocked.

yes that's what I thought !!!
anyway he's had it unlocked so the above must be right. It just amazed me how some one could purchase a phone like that and not have it on contract ??? money sense comes to mind oh well

Oh and Mr trevortron I didn't mention hub caps  ;)
