freeserve broadband ?

I;m getting broadband of freeserve in a few days they say that extension;s can cause problem my pc is in my bedroom so i need to have my internet on an extension . I have my slow internet of freeserve & i have had no problem with that can anyone tell me will my broadband be ok

if Freeserve are sending an engineer to do it for you they will advise you if it to far from your main telephone box or not. if it is plug and play then they should have given you the details of instalkl eg should be no more then i think it was about 10meters from your main telephone socket. An extension will be ok up to a certain lenth then after that the signal may degridate so data and stuff will be lost. Don't worry to much if you std dial up is ok Broadband will be fine.

Hi Zapper have u had Freeserve Broadband installed yet ? if so is it any good as I'm thinking of having it myself
