JB 4.2 So Slow

I flashed the ROM on my HTC Sensation to Albimoman's JB 4.2 and although it was initially OK, it's now slow as hell. I'd reflash but the buttons have died so I'm having to use the app 'Button Saviour'. What's the best way of speeding my ROM us again? Is it fragmented?

If you can get into the recovery screen then delete cache and dalvik cache

Should help a bit,plus make sure you dont have too many running apps

Thanks for that. I try not to run too many apps as the Sensation is known to run too hot when the CPU is under load.
