my mate gave me his ps3 to look at as he said some games dont work and ps2 games dont play even though its an 80 gb machine ps2 games say format not saupported any ideas

think it can from ebay prob not uk but was sold as being able to play ps2 same as uk 60 gb

if it is a korean or US PS3, then its possible they wont play due to region locking - but I am not sure.

Sony have released a new 80GB UK version for the same price as its 40GB that is not backwards compatible, this is to keep its cost down.

my 40GB broke and argos replaced with a new 80GB one :Ha:
