My lad has a tom tom XXL IQ the up date is £80
could get a new one for that. Is a flash poss ?

You dowload the right map and a piece of software called fast activate onto sd card if your sat nav has one , you then open fast activate and click on each line one after the other ,that should pair the map to your machine. Thats the basic idea

Gez would you know how I find out what model number this tom tom is please ?

Either plug it into pc or go thru menu and see it there, if you haven't got a pc connection i have original connection stand for it. You can have that for free
