I currently have a surfboard sb3100 cable modem and have contacted my isp to inform them of a soon to be change of address...
They have provided me with a horizontally mounted modem which has usb features....
Should I keep the old modem or change for the new modem (usb/network) which has been recently given to me.
I have been told that if I change to usb that as my computer takes on more tasks my intenet access will slow down, I have no complaints with the older modem but what if I use my newer modem with my network card will I see any benefits ?, I have to send one of the modems back next week and need to decide ????
