chinese dvr firmware

anyone know and if possible where to get the software firmware for a mates dvr that is chinese model

Problem is can access the camera from outside of network but after a while it seems to stop working and rebooting the dvr seems to fix the problem

now much info I have other than it seems like generic chinese 4 channel dvr.

How long is "a while"? Could just be a dynamic DNS updating issue. Or you could work-around by setting the DVR to self-reboot every 'X' hours.
